From 15th May 2012, the team delivering the work of the NPC will form the NICE Medicines and Prescribing Centre and will sit alongside the Clinical Guidelines team within the Centre for Clinical Practice.

Computer systems have an important role in healthcare and can help to make services more efficient. Reducing paper-based records with the use of computers can help to make the storage of data and communicating across care settings easier for healthcare staff.
