NPC legacy site
From 15th May 2012, the team delivering the work of the NPC will form the NICE Medicines and Prescribing Centre and will sit alongside the Clinical Guidelines team within the Centre for Clinical Practice.
The NICE Medicines and Prescribing Centre will continue to provide support for those using medicines across the NHS, including information on medicines, prescribing advice, training and education, governance and decision-making. However, there will be some changes to the way in which these outputs are produced and published going forward, as part of the overall work delivered by NICE.
As NICE products, all future Medicines and prescribing outputs will be published on the NICE website and signposted from the Medicines and prescribing homepage.
The Medicines and prescribing events team will continue to manage the organisation, delivery and evaluation of the Medicines and prescribing event programme via the NICE website.
Although no new events information will be published on the NPC legacy website from 15th May, resources from recent events will be available in the NPC event archive. These resources will be accessible for as long as the information contained within them remains accurate and up-to-date.
Resource materials from events delivered after the Medicines and Prescribing Centre launch on the 15th May will be available on the NICE website via the Medicines and prescribing homepage.

The National Prescribing Centre is very unique in that it manages the organisation, delivery and evaluation of its national event programme through its own in house events team.
The team has considerable experience and an excellent track record of successfully organising and supporting a diverse portfolio of events, ranging from small interactive workshops to large multi-stream conferences for over 500 delegates.
