NPC legacy site

From 15th May 2012, the team delivering the work of the NPC will form the NICE Medicines and Prescribing Centre and will sit alongside the Clinical Guidelines team within the Centre for Clinical Practice.

The NICE Medicines and Prescribing Centre will continue to produce information to provide support for those using medicines across the NHS, including information on medicines, prescribing advice, training and education, governance and decision-making. However, there will be some changes to the way in which these outputs are produced and published going forward, as part of the overall work delivered by NICE.

As part of NICE all future Medicines and prescribing outputs will be published on the NICE website and signposted from the Medicines and prescribing homepage

The Medicines and Prescribing Centre continues to offer range of dedicated topic areas to which you can subscribe to receive email updates via the Medicines and prescribing homepage, although there have been some changes to the topics available to reflect the future Medicines and prescribing work programme.

You will automatically receive the new Medicines and prescribing alerts for the topics subscribed to from the current NPC list, except where that topic is no longer available.

View the list of topics available from the Medicines and Prescribing Centre here.

Feedback

We are always keen to receive feedback on our outputs. If you have any thoughts on eCAB please email nice@nice.org.uk.

See our eCAB terms and conditions.

Thirty six websites are visited on a daily basis, from which new content is selected and extracted to compile eCAB. As not all websites
are updated everyday, each eCAB message typically contains content from around 12 different sources.
